Literacy Program at MVCC
Green Hills Public Library District is partnering with Moraine Valley Community College to find volunteer tutors and students for the MVCC Literacy Program.  This program is part of a nationwide initiative providing individual tutoring for adults in the district who need help in developing essential reading, writing, and basic math skills.  Volunteer two hours each week tutoring either on campus or at the Library.  No experience is needed and training is provided by MVCC.  For more information on the program and how you can help make a difference, contact the Library at (708) 598-8446 ext. 120.

Public Fax and Scanner
The Library now has a fax and scanner available for public use.  Scan documents and photos to a USB device, printer, or email address for free.  Fax service is available for $1.00 per page.

Paper Retriever Program
Recycling is one of the simplest things you can do to reduce waste and conserve resources.  Look for the green and yellow bin in the North parking lot.  There you can deposit all your household paper: newspapers, catalogs, magazines, old mail and school/office papers.  Not only does this benefit our planet as a whole, but the Library as well!

Museum Adventure Pass
The Museum Adventure Pass allows free entry to many museums in the area including Brookfield Zoo, Chicago Botanic Garden, Oak Lawn Children's Museum, and more!  Click here to find out more information.
