1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

It’s never too early to foster a love of reading!  To help our littlest learners on this journey, we offer a program called 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten.  The title of the program says it all!  The program allows parents and caregivers to conveniently log books on Beanstack, the same platform we use for Summer and Winter Reading Programs.

For every 100 books read, participants will get a small prize.  Once the challenge is completed and 1,000 books are read, participants will receive a grand prize consisting of a stuffed animal and corresponding book.  All prizes can be picked up at the Youth Services Desk.
