The Library Board of Trustees adopted the 2025-2027 Strategic Plan on October 21, 2024. Our current plan will shape the future of the Library and better serve the diverse needs of our community. Below are our strategic directions and goals.
Maximize Community Engagement and Library Services
- Prioritize outreach and partnerships to better serve a larger portion of the community.
- Expand programs, collections, and Library services to provide easier access and meet community needs.
- Strengthen communication efforts to enhance awareness of offerings and encourage a dialogue between the community and the Library.
Optimizing Library Spaces for Access and Comfort
- Explore best uses for Library spaces to support patron and staff needs.
- Ensure a functional and welcoming environment through proactive and thoughtful maintenance activities.
Fostering a Thriving Organizational Culture
- Provide opportunities to develop a skilled and team-oriented workforce.
- Review and refine internal policies and procedures to invest in the future of the Library.
We have developed a Strategic Action Plan that will take place through June 30, 2026. Community members are welcome to follow along on our progress.
