Museum & Other Discount Passes

GHPLD cardholders can receive free admission or discounted tickets to Chicago area cultural destinations.  This includes museums, science centers, sporting events, zoos, park districts, theatres, and other fun and local cultural venues.  More information on these programs can be found below.

Explore More Illinois

museumPatrons can check out a pass online through the Explore More Illinois website.  Choose your Library (Green Hills Public Library District), login with your GHPLD Library card number and PIN (last four digits of your phone number), and select the pass you want to check out.  For more details about this program, including participating locations, visit the Explore More Illinois website.

Museum Adventure Pass

Museums for All

Museums for All is an initiative of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), a federal agency based in Washington, DC.  The initiative is administered by the Association of Children’s Museums through a cooperative agreement with IMLS.

This program provides free or reduced admission to a variety of museums across the country to anyone receiving SNAP benefits.  You only have to show your benefit card and a photo ID.
